A “Vintage of a Lifetime”. Napa Valley experienced one of the longest growing season in over a decade, with mild weather throughout, allowing for extended hang time. The 2023 vintage is exceptional – high-quality and outstanding. Relatively cool conditions during the season enabled grape skins to ripen slowly and evenly, developing deep color, mature tannins, and complex, delicious flavors. Winemakers enjoyed walking the vineyards and making harvest decisions in a calm, focused manner, with minimal stress or disruptions.

Tasting Note
​The 2023 Portfolio is a full-bodied wine, showcasing exceptional freshness, purity and refined power. Aromas of dark fruit are layered with subtle spices and toasted notes from new French oak. On the palate, powerful yet fine-grain tannins deliver structure and depth, supporting savory flavored of crushed cassis, blackberry and black cherry. The texture remains supple and velvety leading to a long and vibrant finish. A true expression of Napa Valley and vintage 2023. Enjoy now and decades to come.

Composition: Cabernet Sauvignon 80%, Cabernet Franc 20%
Fruit Sources: Hendry Ranch block 8 (CS) and Block 9 (CF)
Age of Vines: CS 50 years and CF 22 years
Date of Harvest: CF October 13th and CS October 17th
Fermentation: Fermented in 1-ton bin
Winemaking: No pump, no fining, no filtration, natural gravity flow
Skin Contact: 30 days
Malolactic Fermentation: In barrels
Barrel Aging: 20 months in 100% New French Oak
